The Level 3 Certificate in Effective Coaching Skills focuses on providing you with new coaching skills to become an effective coach. It is for learners at all levels who want to develop their knowledge and skills in effective coaching within an organisational context. They are ideal for both new and existing coaches.
You will learn to know what it takes to be an effective coach and understand the role and responsibilities of effective coaches. You will also learn a recognised coaching model, and the tools and techniques to support it.
You will be able to put your new skills into practice and carry out supervised coaching sessions and analyse coaching performance in order to improve your own ability.
You and your fellow course students will have access to an online learning system including electronic course media and a virtual community to share your thoughts and experiences.
The course is supported by three written assignments, which are: a reflective diary, a reflection on an individual’s own approach to coaching and a work-based assignment introducing coaching into an organisation. We ensure thorough tutorial support for all learners.

For all of our in-person training courses you will get all refreshments and a buffet lunch provided.
Following your completion of all the course days and a minimum of a Pass in all the assignments you will receive your ILM Level 3 Certificate in Effective Coaching.
All ILM accredited courses require the completion of assignments during the course. For the Level 3 Certificate in Effective Coaching there are three assignments set by the ILM. A minimum of a Pass is required in all assignments. Synergia Coaching offer tutor support in parallel to the teaching course days to guide and assist you through the assignments.
