- Les is a humanities graduate who went on to an Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Degree. His fascination for language and human interaction left him unable to resist crossing subject boundaries adding education and management qualifications to his portfolio.
- He has worked at senior level in Further Education, taught for the Open University, and for the last 10 years has worked for the Centre for Professional Management at Staffordshire University.
- His areas of particular expertise are First-line and Middle management development, team development and flexible learning solutions and he is currently involved with the development of Web-based learning resources to support in-company work and in-house staff-development.
- Alongside his colleagues he manages and delivers the Leadership Development Programme for Staffordshire Police which has recently won two National Training Awards.
- As a consultant with Synergia, Les has helped to develop our workshop training programmes and is a key element in the delivery of our theoretical platform.
