Synergia Coaching have won a new contract for NHS Coventry and NHS Warwickshire, covering seven different Trusts, to design, develop and deliver a new Talent and Leadership Planning Manual. This will support the West Midlands SHA Talent and Leadership Planning Process. The Manual will enable managers to:-
Understand how to use the SHA Talent & Leadership Toolkit
Use standardised Talent Management paperwork as part of the annual Personal
Development Review process.
Feel competent and confident in discussing career development with their staff.
Feel confident and competent to identify current workforce capacity, capability and
readiness of individuals to progress to the next level.
Feel confident and competent to use the Talent Map and Talent Pipeline as an aid to
succession planning.
Know that when people are developed on the pipeline that we arrange for them to have
opportunities in other trusts with a mentor for development.
Know the range of development opportunities that are available for their managers to
further develop and therefore ensure comprehensive Personal Development Plans are
agreed.

a Coach"
Coaching Programme Information
Coventry PCT through the World Class Commissioning Organisational Development Plan has committed to develop the skills and capability of its staff. Part of this commitment is to develop its’ managers as coaches, and has awarded this coaching programme with an emphasis of the ‘Manager as a Coach’ to Synergia Coaching Limited. This will add to previous Coaching programmes that have been sourced over the last few years.
The programme will deliver the following outcomes:-
To Coach staff in Management Techniques and Processes to enable them to use these to manage more effectively
To ensure that Manager’s understand their roles and responsibilities in managing others
To ensure that Manager’s reflect on their Management Style and Behaviour and how it affects the staff they manage
To ensure Managers understand the principles of effective Delegation and Empowerment
To improve the Manager’s confidence in dealing with Conflict at work.
