The Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in Management introduces you to the benefits of organisational coaching and mentoring and provides you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to coach or mentor as part of your normal work role.

Achieving your ILM Level 5 Certificate:

Attend seven days (3+2+2) of tutor-led learning enable you to:

• Explore the characteristics of effective coaches and mentors and present a business case for using coaching or mentoring in your organisation

• Review your ability to communicate effectively, explore your own ethical and moral views, beliefs, attitudes and values; and the impact these have on those you coach and mentor

• Design, develop and deliver a short coaching or mentoring programme in line with your organisational or team’s needs which includes at least 12 hours of coaching practice

And:

• Complete a written work-based assignment which assesses your ability to design and develop a management coaching or mentoring programme reflecting best practice

• Maintain a coaching diary to assess and reflect on your performance as a management coach or mentor

 

Once you have completed your Level 5 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring in Management you may wish to continue your studies and achieve the Level 5 Diploma for Professional Management Coaches and Mentors or Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring

Our ILM coaching programmes can be held either in-house or at our modern two-storey building based on Staffordshire Technology Park.  Typically completed within a 26-week timeframe, our Level 5 programmes are held throughout the year.
